As an accomplished Jazz saxophonist and pianist originally hailing from Dallas, Tx, Latifah, sets her sites on releasing her long-delayed debut album Princess Latifah. Working closely with singer, songwriter and producer M-Saw, they have been recording since 9th grade year in 2007. They drew inspiration from many artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Otis Redding, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse.
